Decisions involving negotiation, exceptions or judgement, and any process nobody can describe consistently. Automating an unclear process makes it faster and harder to fix, so we document how it actually runs before writing a rule.

There must be a way for a person to see it happened and reverse it. Automation without visibility produces errors that compound silently, so we build logging and an override path alongside the rule itself.

In our experience it removes specific repetitive tasks rather than roles, and the realistic gain is people spending less time on data entry and chasing. We would rather set that expectation than promise headcount savings we cannot evidence.
